Cliff Schorr continued to hone his craft in this award winning series on Amazon Prime. Mozart in the Jungle is loosely based on Gustavo Dudamel, the conductor of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He is known for his tireless advocacy for music and music education.
Filmed in both New York City and Venice, Italy, the series richly featured the kinds scenery that brought music to the fore of this inspiring series. Executive produced by Roman Coppola and Jason Schwartzman (cousins) and Paul Weitz, the filmmaker responsible for "About a Boy" and other features, the series was close to Cliff's heart as a serious fan of classical music.
